This is the last part of my epic day, was also where the real party start xP
Daikoku Futo PA (Parking Area) is a man-made island located in the middle of Yokohama Harbor, it is a well-known car meet spot in Tokyo. I’ve done so many homework, plan A, B, C route and read through so many automotive bloggers who have visited this place to get as much information as I can, well the only information I’m looking for is the transportation. After numerous research, everyone said the same thing, easy to get there but hard to get out. I’m actually really worried and struggle should I go to Daikoku Futo PA or not coz this place isn’t public-transportation-friendly, but I really really reeeeeeeeally don’t wanna let go this opportunity, and to be honest, to visit Daikoku Futo PA is the biggest reason why I travel to Tokyo >< So this is the first time in my life that I said “screw it” which I really mean it and made that dangerous decision, the rest of the time that I always say “screw it” and really mean it was when comes to food while on eating healthy period hahaha xP
Before I travel to Tokyo I’ve already plan which is the best option to get to Daikoku Futo, no matter where you come from, you can get off at Ishikawacho Station then take taxi to Daikoku Futo which I did, or you can also get off at Namamugi Station and take taxi. Not every taxi accept card payment though so you better ask first if you don’t have a lot of cash with you, there is extra charge to the bill cause of it is a highway route.
If you go on Google Map and zoom in you’ll see Daikoku Futo PA is in the center and beneath highway overpasses, if you can see those big loop, you know the ride to Daikoku Futo PA is gonna be so much fun and my taxi unten-san proudly show off a bit of his skill during the ride xD
As soon as I stepped out from the taxi, the electricity feeling run through from my toe to my brain, the feeling this greater than when I first stepped out from Narita Airport xD Electricity feeling: 90% excitement, 15% cold, 5% I wanna wee wee hahahaha xD
Selfie after wee wee xP
When I got there the carpark wasn’t as full as I saw on photos, I wanted to wait till the scene got epic, but I don’t want to waste time either so I went out and approach this first 3 Subaru Legacy Wagon, I asked the owner for permission of taking photo of their pride and joy, they were so happy and quickly go turn on every lights they add to the car, what a kind and lovely bunch of young Japanese guys! xDD
Love love loooove this Toyota Prius C (or Aqua) so much!! Especially the tail-light!! The full body kit from Rowen International are super swagalicious!! I want one!!! :Q ❤ ❤
This is my very first time to see a Honda S660, so stylish and swanky even it’s just a stock car xD
I should convince my dad to get larger rims and tyres or lower his Odyssey hahaha xD
I should ask my brother-in-law to do this to his Lexus RX270 xP
The later the night is, more cars turns up, unfortunately I can’t stay to see them all, because the later the night is, the higher chance of I can’t get back to the city because there’s no public transport. I was super lucky that there’s 2 taxi stopped by for their break, I felt sooo sorry that I had to interrupt one of them, although they so kind and still take me to the train station, I kept saying sorry that I interrupted his break and troubled him, he said it’s nothing at all, Japan is a country that don’t like to accept tips so I can’t give him extra but wish I could buy him a hot drink or something ><
Anyway, what made me think this is the best decision I’ve ever made is the smile of everyone’s face when I take photo, they even thank me to take photo of their ride and appriciate their work, but I think I should be the one to thank them 🙂 So that’s all for my epic Day 04 in Tokyo, see you guys on the next post then! Ciao! xD
