14.04.16 ChaCha to TOKYO: Day 03 // Edo-Tokyo Museum.

1

I like how people built awesome figure from Lego, until one day I saw some Japanese made some fake food and stuff looks super real from plastic, I’m super amazed by their awesome skill, THEN UNTIL one day I saw they gone to the next crazy level which is made stuff to miniature size, man, what else Japanese can’t do? xP

While I was planning my to-do list of Tokyo trip, I came across Edo-Tokyo Museum, as soon as I read from the reviews says they got miniature and life size display I’m like “yup, I’m going” so I did xP I was supposed to visit Miniature Museum of Taiwan when I was travelling to Taipei but they were under construction or some sort when I arrived the door so I CAN NOT let this chance go xP

If you would like to know the history of Tokyo (former name: Edo) from 400 years ago till the 20th century, you should totally visit this museum 🙂 Anyway, enjoy the photos. xD

I came across いろり庵きらく on some website when I was searching where to have Soba in Tokyo, apparently it is one of the shop that you’ll stuck in long queue so I kinda put it as my optional list, but then when I came out from the museum and reached the subway, I saw their Ryogoku branch just right there which I don’t even know they have a branch there, probably I’ve been looking at those popular branch ones so yea, so there’s no queue and only 3 people dining, so it’s not on my optional list no more *crossed from list*, how the hell I’m so lucky?! xD

Man, eat the food at where they from is seriously a different sensation *touching* x’D

That Soba and mini Katsu Don was just my breackfast + lunch, although they only happened an hour ago before I came to Yakiniku Futago xP I found this Yakiniku restaurant from a Taiwanese blogger, I know there’s heaps of Yakiniku restaurant in Tokyo but why chose this? I’m a sucker of flawless photos on food blog, I’m just can’t handle it when I saw those photos on that Taiwanese blogger’s blog so I had to list it “must go and eat” so yea x’D And they not only have branches in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China, they even have branches at New York and Hawaii, that’s mean they good ;P

Beside they’ll help you store away your jacket and bags away to prevent the smells and give you a paper scarf to protect your tops, they’ll also give you a plastic bag that can protect your phone/devices from the splatter fat from grilling the meat, and you still can use it without any problem, how thoughtful is that! xD

First round of drink was Futago Highball, entree was their special potato salad.

First grill, Beef Tongue.

Second grill: Beef outside skirt and Beef Galbi. (If I’m not wrong xP)

Don’t remember what my last drink, last grilled was Magical Beef Outside Skirt, that’s the name. xP

A shot of their special yogurt as a complimentary when I’m paying, this meal is the most expensive meal in my trip, it cost me around AUD$50 -$60, quite worthed it coz they really good, but you can also pay that much in a all you can eat Yakiniku buffet too so yea xP So that’s all for today, hope you guys enjoyed browsing and will see you guys on the next post then! Ciao! xD

  1. Awesome photos! I went to the Edo-Tokyo museum recently, too! Did you get the English guide tour? I thought I would get stuck with a large group of foreigners, but I was lucky enough to get a private tour. Such a precious experience. I love this place haha 😀

    • Hi Elle! Thanks for stopping by! Most of the signs of the arts has English so I didn’t get the English guide tour. Yea it was definitely one of the best museum to visit and I can’t wait to go back again! xD
