Lepak Kopitiam.

Lepak Kopitiam, I’ve heard about them from Isabelle (sis-in-law) since they first opened couple months ago, Ricky (brother) and Isabelle have been coming here for dinner after work quite often, and I’ve finally came here with Isabelle and her sister xP

We got some plan this day and need to leave the house early, so Isabelle suggested to have breakfast here, since I haven’t been here before and wanted to come here since ages ago so I don’t “objection” at all hehe xD

They open at 8am and we arrived around 8.30am, already tables have taken, and more people coming. We quickly scan the menu and place order coz the place we are going after this is going to take about 45mins drive and will be very crowded so we gotta eat a bit faster and hit the road earlier xP

If you’ve been Singapore or Malaysia, this set of food definitely no strangers for you coz you definitely seen what the local would order for breakfast, pure Coffee or Teh C (Hot tea with sweetened evaporated milk), toasted bread with Kaya (coconut jam) and butter, and half boiled eggs xP

Spotted something? xP

For you guys haha xD

You know this is super simple and you can make it at home by your own but still can’t help to order them at kopitiam ><

Isabelle ordered a chicken porridge for herself.

Salee (Isabelle’s sister) ordered this Sambal Sotong (squid) with coconut rice.

I wanted to order Ice Teh C but I felt like try the Milo Volcano so I get that instead xP

I ordered this to share, it is Chee Cheong Fun (rice noodle roll) with chicken and mushroom.

And I ordered this noodle with braised chicken feet and mushroom, I felt regret when it came coz I can tell I can’t finish this 2 dishes and I was right, I only managed to finish the rice noodle roll but only finished quarter of the noodle so yea >< So that’s what I ate on my first visit, guess when was the 2nd visit? The night I doing this post, which mean last night! xD coz I’m craving for that rice noodle roll! So I rock up to this place with JC and arrived at around 6pm to beat the crowd, then this place got packed at 6.30pm. If you guys wanna come, make sure come by 8.15am for breakfast or 6pm for dinner xP

This time I get Iced Teh C, JC’s same x)

I realized the rice noodle roll is only available for breakfast hours so I ordered Lobak (fried meat rolls) to try and share.

My main, Penang prawn noodle.

This actually not JC’s, he ate something couple hours ago but I ordered Pan Mee (Hakka style noodle/flat flour noodle) Malaysian Style mainly for myself but also for him to try, he had some, I finished more than quarter of the prawn noodle then finish quarter of his, yup, damn full xP So that’s all for today and will see you guys on the next one! Ciao! xD

  1. You guys sure know what to order. Yes, they are simple but delicious. I have tried Chee Cheong Fun before, but never tried the one with with chicken and mushroom. It seems very interesting to me! 😉 . Since you came back to the same place for dinner, I assume their food is delicious. Although JC didn’t have much there, I’m glad you guys got to spend some time together. 🙂 Nice food pics as usual and I’m always happy to read whatever you are sharing here. ❤
